Terms of Service

AudioTidy provides online tools for editing, converting, extracting, joining, trimming, and otherwise processing audio or related media files.

The current AudioTidy tools are provided free of charge. We may add, remove, update, or modify features as the service develops.

AudioTidy editing tools are designed to process supported audio and video files locally in your browser.

Audio to Text securely uploads the audio you select to Cloudflare infrastructure for transcription. Source audio is deleted after processing succeeds or permanently fails, and transcription results expire after 24 hours.

You are responsible for maintaining your own copies and backups of important files. AudioTidy should not be treated as a file storage or backup service.

You retain all rights you may have in the files and content you process using AudioTidy. AudioTidy does not claim ownership of your audio, video, or other media simply because you use our tools to process it.

You are responsible for ensuring that you have the necessary rights or permissions to use and process any file you select.

You may not use AudioTidy:

AudioTidy relies on browser-based technologies. Processing capabilities, supported formats, performance, maximum practical file sizes, and output results may vary depending on factors including your browser, device, available memory, source file, and media format.

We do not guarantee that every file or format can be successfully processed.

We aim to keep AudioTidy available and functional, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access. The service may occasionally become unavailable because of maintenance, technical problems, infrastructure changes, or circumstances outside our control.

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of AudioTidy at any time.

AudioTidy is provided on an as is and as available basis to the extent permitted by applicable law. We do not guarantee that the service will always be available, error-free, compatible with every file, or suitable for every particular purpose.

You should verify important output files before relying on or distributing them.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, AudioTidy and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or similar losses arising from your use of or inability to use the service.

This includes, where legally permitted, loss or corruption of files, data, business opportunities, or other losses resulting from use of the service. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

AudioTidy may use or link to third-party services, websites, or infrastructure. We are not responsible for third-party websites, services, content, availability, or policies. Your use of third-party services may be governed by their own terms and policies.

The AudioTidy website, branding, interface, software, text, graphics, and other materials created by AudioTidy are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you ownership of AudioTidy or its intellectual property.

Your use of AudioTidy is also subject to our Privacy Policy, which explains how AudioTidy handles support information and locally processed files.

We may update these Terms as AudioTidy changes. When we make changes, we will update the Last updated date at the top of this page.

Continued use of AudioTidy after updated Terms become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms to the extent permitted by applicable law.

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to the operator of AudioTidy, subject to any mandatory consumer protection rights that apply in your place of residence.
